According to a survey conducted by IBM Institute for Business Value, 77% of venture capitalists think that Indian startups lack innovation and unique business models and found that 90% of the startups will fail within the first 5 years of their establishment. In the global arena, Indian startups are accused of replicating global startups. Is this because of our lack of ability and skills to innovate or are we too blinded by the success of global giants to create a global success of our own?
